SJ NexGen Technologies ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Data we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone / WhatsApp number and email when you register, enquire or apply.
- Education details: college or school name, course and year, when needed for a workshop or certificate.
- Payment details: payments are handled by our payment gateway. We receive only the payment status and reference number, never your card or bank details.
- Content you post: solutions, projects, comments and profile information on our community features.
- Basic technical data: device and browser information and pages visited, used to keep the website secure and working.
We do not collect Aadhaar numbers.
2. Why we use it
- To register you for workshops and programs and to contact you about them
- To issue certificates and to let others verify them
- To process payments, refunds and invoices
- To run community features and keep them safe
- To reply to enquiries and job applications
- To meet legal and tax requirements
We will send you updates about new workshops only if you agree, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
3. Certificate verification
When you receive a certificate, a verification record is created with your name, institution, program details and certificate ID. Anyone who has your certificate ID or QR code can see this record. Your phone number and email are never shown.
4. Sharing
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our services (such as hosting, payment and messaging providers), with a partner institution when you join a program run with that institution, or when required by law.
5. Children
If you are under 18, we will process your data only with the verifiable consent of your parent or legal guardian.
6. Storage and security
Your data is stored on secure servers with access limited to authorised people. We keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete it.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot continue a service that depends on it.
8. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to run the website and keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies.
